What it is

BackupBastion in a paragraph

BackupBastion backs up files and whole drives to disks, USB drives and network shares, keeping versions so a file you overwrote last month is still there. It can image the entire system for a bare-metal restore, verifies every backup, and runs restore drills so you find out that a backup works before you need it.

Offline firstWorks with the network cable unplugged. Any connection it makes is listed and optional.
Every change undoableAnything it changes is journaled with its previous state and can be put back.
No telemetryNo account, no analytics, no crash reporting. Nothing about you leaves the PC.
Pay whatever you wantFree to use. If it helps you, tip what you think it is worth. No paywalls, no feature ever switched off.
Windows 11 Home includedTested on Home edition first; anything that only works on Pro is labelled.
