Trustworthy software. No fee, no subscription, no data collection.
WinBastion makes small but worthy programs for Windows, Android, Linux and the web. Every product is free to use. If one helps you, you pay whatever you want as a tip; that is the whole business model. No accounts unless the job truly needs one, and nothing about you is collected or sold.
What we believe
How a micro-tech company survives
Every product here is free. If one helps you, you pay whatever you want as a tip. There are no subscriptions, no ads, no telemetry, and nothing about you is sold to anyone. So it is fair to ask how the lights stay on. Here is the honest answer.
Tips from people a product helped
All of the money is micro-tips. Someone frees 3 GB, sorts out a month of bank statements or gets a team talking, and buys the developer a chai. Ko-fi and Buy Me a Coffee style: cards and PayPal anywhere in the world, UPI in India. A tip is a thank-you for software you already have, never a fee.
You pay whatever you want
There is no price list. A tip can be the price of a chai, or more if a product saved your week; you decide, once or whenever you like. Paying unlocks nothing and not paying takes nothing away: everyone gets the same product.
Costs kept tiny
WinBastion is a deliberately small unit inside EBITA.AI: a very small team, AI-assisted development, desktop tools that need no servers of ours, and small servers where a product must have one. The website is static files. A company that costs almost nothing to run does not need to squeeze its users.
What a tip pays for
- Codec licences so MediaBastion can read and write the formats that are not free to ship.
- A code-signing certificate so Windows SmartScreen stops warning about the installer.
- The website, the domains and the small servers behind the downloads and the connected products.
- The developer's time on the next features, the next tests and the next product in the family.
The arithmetic
If 1 in 200 users tips the price of a chai, the family keeps growing.
That is the whole plan. No growth targets, no investors to satisfy, no reason to change the rules later.
Two promises
Features are never locked behind tips: everyone gets the same program. And tipping never gets a nag screen: a tool may ask once, quietly, after it has done something useful, and “never show again” means never.
Support the developerOne product per job. The same rules for all of them.
Grouped by platform. Available means you can download or use it today; In development is being built and has a plan you can read; the rest are planned and listed so you can tell us which one you need first.

Badges mean what they say. Available has a download or a live website. In development is being built and has a plan you can read. Coming soon is a page describing what we intend to build; nothing to download and nothing to pre-order.
About WinBastion
WinBastion is the micro-tech company of EBITA.AI, a software company based in Ernakulam, Kerala. It ships small but worthy programs for Windows, Android, Linux and the web, free, funded by tips from the people they help. We started with the guardian for Windows because it was the tool we needed most, then kept a list of every other chore that still sends people to a subscription, an upload page or a program full of nag screens. That list is the product grid above.
Honest badges
A product is “Available” when you can download it, and not before. We publish the plan for the rest and change it when we learn something.
Funded by the people it helps
Every product is free to download or use. If one helps you, you pay whatever you want as a tip; that is the whole business model. Nothing is ever funded by your data, and no feature is locked behind a tip. How that adds up.
